Intro Workshop

Have you ever wanted to get over the fence for an afternoon and shoot like the pro's do? Well now is your chance in this new f8 intro workshop. Limited to 6 students and taking place on Sunday afternoon. Prior to going out on track you will take part in a short classroom session covering basic shooting tips and safety. One of our professional photographer instructors will then lead the group out on track for an afternoon up close to the action. The instructor will be there to point out the best shooting areas and help you get the shot of a lifetime.

Master Workshop

This workshop is open to all photographers that have a good basic understanding of the functions of their DSLR camera.   Class will be limited to six students per instructor. Working professional photographers will instruct the attendees in classroom sessions as well as personally taking them over the fence a the track. Each student will receive full media passes and enjoy individual instruction during the on track sessions. Classroom sessions cover topics such as; safety, camera operation, composition, shooting locations, shooting techniques.

Students will be challenged with a shot list to cover the event as the working pro’s do. They will shoot in the pits, people, details, but mostly out on the circuit and at every corner. Capturing speed in a still image is the goal.

Alumni Wrokshop

Open to any student that has taken our Master Workshop. This workshop offers advanced techniques and camera set up. Emphasis is on "creating a photograph" not just "taking a picture", story telling, composition, and "seeing the light". The workshop includes two classroom sessions, full media pass and lunch both days at the track. Full media passes will be provide.

This class will expand on the techniques from the Master Workshop. More detailed camera setup, and getting to the right place at the right time will be key. Anticipating the action, what to look for, and planing your day to increase the chance of getting that award winning shot.
